Sharda Sinha's husband Brajkishore Sinha died last month due to a brain hemorrhage. Due to this, her health deteriorated and kept deteriorating continuously. Sharda Sinha has so far sung hundreds of traditional songs of marriage and Chhath in Bhojpuri, Bajjika, Magahi, and Maithili languages. Sharda Sinha has so far sung many songs of Chhath, marriage, mundan, janeu, and vidaai.
