A boat capsized on the Indus river in Pakistan on Monday. There were about 90 people on board. So far 23 bodies have been recovered. The rest are missing. There were about 150 baraatis in total 2 boats. Among them was the groom. These people were going to the other end after crossing the Indus river. During this, a boat sank.
Many people have been saved. Most of those rescued are women and children. Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed grief over the accident. Said- The government will help these people.
Accident due to high tide and overloading
Officials said that the search is on for the missing people. About 150 people were going from Rozhan to Machhaka in two boats. Suddenly a boat capsized due to high tide and overloading. Many people were washed away in the river due to the strong current. We are running a rescue operation.

The rescue team told- 35 rescue personnel reached the spot and carried out the rescue operation in collaboration with the local people. 5 ambulances and a water rescue van were also involved in the operation. People say that they chose this route to cross the Indus river because it is safer.
