The series of bridge collapses continues in Saran. Within 24 hours, the third bridge collapsed. The bridge connecting two panchayats of Baniyapur, Sareya and Satua, has fallen prey to irregularities. Dozens of villages of both panchayats have lost contact. Due to this, the villagers are facing a lot of problems. This bridge was the main bridge connecting Satua Panchayat and Saraiya Panchayat. Villagers do farming on both sides of the bridge. Also, due to the presence of an inter-college, this was the only means for the students of Sareya to go to school. Due to the collapse of the bridge and water in the river, people will have to face a lot of problems. After the accident, the DM of Saran said that a high-level investigation had been ordered to find out the reason for the collapse of these small bridges in the district.
The bridge could not withstand the strong flow of water.
According to the villagers, this bridge on the Gandaki River was constructed five years ago from the personal funds of the local head. After the cleaning work in the river, the bridge collapsed due to the reduction in the soil near the bridge and the foundation and the strong flow of water. On Wednesday, two bridges collapsed in Janata Bazar of Lahladpur block, about ten kilometers away. Within just 24 hours, the third bridge in the Saran district collapsed on the Gandak River in Saran district. The continuous collapse of bridges has become a topic of discussion in the entire Bihar including Saran. At present, the movement of the villagers of Satua and Sareya Panchayat of Baniyapur has been affected due to the collapse of the bridge.
Two bridges collapsed in a single day.
Earlier, just a few hours after the collapse of the bridge built on the Gandak river near Janata Bazar of Lahladpur block of Saran district, everyone was shocked by the news of another bridge collapse. People are raising questions that what is the reason that after the collapse of the bridge built on the river connecting various villages of Maharajganj, two bridges collapsed consecutively in the Janata Bazar police station area of Saran district in a single day. After the collapse of the bridge near Dhodnath temple, the British-era bridge at Dandaspur Jangalvilas Tola on the Gandak River in the Janta Bazar police station area has also collapsed.

The third bridge was built in the Gandak River in Dhimahi village. It also collapsed. Villagers say that this bridge was also repaired a few days ago. Even after that, this bridge has collapsed. It is said to be due to the fast flow of water. After the accident, traffic between several villages has been disrupted.
