BJP has strongly countered the opposition's Election Commission march over the Bihar SIR case. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan accused Congress and Rahul Gandhi of an anti-constitutional attitude. He said that SIR is not happening for the first time in the country, but the opposition is trying to spread lies and create chaos by making it an excuse. The BJP leader also appealed to the opposition to raise issues in Parliament.
Dharmendra Pradhan said that the country is seeing that those who are working against the Constitution are being led by Rahul Gandhi. SIR is not a new process; it has happened before. Along with this, he accused the Congress of lying, raising questions on EVMs, and spreading confusion about the Maharashtra and Haryana elections. According to Pradhan, this is a well-planned strategy of the opposition to spread chaos in the country.
Appeal to raise issues in Parliament
The BJP leader urged the opposition to raise their issues in Parliament instead of taking out marches on the road. He said that even during the discussion on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, the opposition and the Congress did not have any concrete agenda. He alleged that the opposition is taking such steps to divert the attention of the public from real issues.
Accused Congress of spreading lies
Pradhan further said that Congress also repeatedly lies about EVMs and creates distrust in the election process. He alleged that the opposition is trying to incite public sentiment due to fear of electoral defeat. The BJP leader called it dangerous for the democratic system and said that such steps weaken the confidence of the public.
