Canada plans to resettle 1.5 million migrants in the next three years. Canada's Minister of Overseas Affairs, Sean Fraser, said work visa permits and other processes would be further accelerated. Indians are likely to benefit from this big decision of the Canadian government.

In Canada, the increasing age of the current population and rising retirement rates are causing concern. The Canadian government believes that if nothing is done about this, then after 10 to 15 years the economic condition of the country will worsen. It will be difficult to run schools and hospitals smoothly. Just a week ago, the census agency reported that one in five Canadians immigrated from another country. About 60% of the country's people have a positive attitude toward migrants.

Currently 18 and a half million Indians in Canada, 5% of the total population

According to the population of 2021, about 1.8 million people of Indian origin live in Canada. It accounts for 5 percent of the Canadian population. Most Indians live in Ontario and British Columbia. For some time, the population of Indian people has been increasing in Alberta and Quebec as well.
