Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored a century in England, reached the top-5 in the ICC Women's Rankings, other Indians also benefited

Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who played an unbeaten knock of 143 runs in the second ODI on the England tour, has moved up to fifth place in the ICC Women's ODI Rankings. India had thrashed the hosts 3-0 in the three-match ODI series on the England tour. Apart from Harmanpreet, the rankings of openers Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma have also improved. Mandhana has moved up one place to sixth and Sharma has moved up eight places to be in 24th position. Deepti is currently in the headlines for her Mankindg run out more than her ranking.

 

Among other Indians, Pooja Vastrakar has moved up four places to 49th and Harleen Deol has moved up 46 places to 81st. Renuka Singh has climbed 35 places to the 35th position. Jhulan Goswami has retired from the fifth position. England's Danny Wyatt has moved up two places to be at 21st, while Amy Jones has moved up four places to be at 30th. Charlie Dean has climbed 24 places to 62nd place.
