CBSE Syllabus Controversy: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Sangh Parivar over the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to change the syllabus of classes 10th and 12th. The remarks from the Congress leader came days after CBSE removed several chapters from the history and political science syllabus of classes 10th and 12th.
Rahul Gandhi took a jibe by tweeting
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday hit out at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) over amendments to the CBSE syllabus and termed it as a "national education shredder". Rahul Gandhi posted a graphic on Twitter by writing National Education Shredder. The graphics show the cutting machine on themes such as democracy and diversity, the effects of globalization on agriculture, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Mughal court, the Industrial Revolution, and Faiz's poems. Issues like employment, communal harmony, and institutions are shown cut into pieces by the machine downwards.
CBSE syllabus changes
Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the removal of chapters related to the rise of Islamic empires in the Afro-Asian regions, the history of the Mughal courts, the Cold War, and the Industrial Revolution from the History and Political Science syllabus. After this, this remark of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has come to the fore in protest. Rahul's tweet has been targeted, blaming the Sangh Parivar for this change.
Every Indian is paying the price of hatred
