The illegal Twin Tower of Noida got grounded. Now there are 80 thousand tons of debris at that place. The height of this rubble is equal to that of a 6-story building. According to the order of the Supreme Court, it has to be removed within 3 months. For the last two days, around 400 sweepers, 100 water sprinklers and tankers, 22 anti-smoke guns, 6 road washing machines, and 4 earthmovers are involved in the cleaning work.
Responsibility for removing debris to Ramki Group
Noida Authority has entrusted the work of clearing the debris of the Twin Towers to Ramki Group. The company has to complete it in 3 months. Ramki Group was established in 1994 in Hyderabad.
Ramki Group, with a turnover of Rs 4,500 crore, operates in the field of civil, environmental, and waste management infrastructure. It has offices in UAE and Singapore with 55 locations in India.
Its companies employ more than 4,500 employees. Its chairman is Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy. Its plant is in Sector-80 of Noida. They have a scientific way of treating debris. Noida Authority has given all the approvals for this. The UP Pollution Control Board has also approved the plan.
20 dumpers will make 1200 rounds daily
According to Ramki Group, out of 80,000 tonnes of debris, 46,000 tonnes will be used only to fill the basement and surrounding areas of both towers. At the same time, the demolition company Edifice Engineering, which presented the Debris Management Plan, said that the remaining 30,000 tonnes of debris will be recycled.
It will be transported through 20 dumpers to the Construction and Demolition Processing Plant in Sector 80, Noida, where it will be recycled. During this, these dumpers will make 1200 to 1300 rounds daily to take the debris to the plant. 300 tonnes of waste can be processed every day in this plant. After recycling, ballast, cement, and tiles can be made from it.
15 crore only concrete and iron will be sold
In addition to concrete, more than 4 thousand tons of iron and steel have also been found in the rubble. Demolition company Edifice will recover a part of its expenditure by selling this iron and steel. The estimated cost of concrete and more than 4 thousand iron and steel is about Rs 15 crore.
Some machines found from the rubble, data will be available in 2-3 weeks
Before the demolition of the twin tower, 20 machines were fitted for its monitoring. Utkarsh Mehta of Edifice Company said that we have found some machines from the rubble. Data is being extracted from them. This may take 2-3 weeks.
The machines installed inside the ground are yet to be found. In these machines dust monitor, noise monitor, and velocity meter have been installed. Data will be collected by searching these. Then a report will be created from the data. This process will take some time.
The data from the black box is very important. It also has machines for measuring velocity and acceleration. The data will show the exact number of seconds in which the building came down. There were 10 black boxes installed here. One of them has been found. The rest are still buried under the rubble.
This project will be analyzed all over the world.
Utkarsh Mehta said that the demolition of the twin tower is a model of perfect engineering. It will be analyzed all over the world. Worldwide, structures above 100 meters have fallen in the past, but there was a lot of space around them. While the twin towers have been demolished as per the plan, despite problems like gas pipelines and nearby settlements.
