Soup for daughters is also being accepted. Means, now on the value of daughters too, people have started keeping the recognition of soup from the sixth Maiya.

The rules of Chhath are very strict. There is no change in these rules. In the house in which the offerings have been made, the same goes up. The house where the soup grew, it grows. The new and good thing that is appearing is that now a new tradition of confessing soup for daughters is being established. People are accepting this tradition. This tradition is also increasing by seeing each other. When my sister-in-law came to her house, she had accepted Supati. My daughter was having trouble with her children, I confessed to her. When she had a daughter, she also cooked soup for her and offered her soup in Chhath for five years. It is not just in my house.

 

Vow for daughter's birth, job, marriage too

 

I observe fast, so there is not much talk at Chhat Ghat, but while returning from the ghat, in conversation with women of different castes, it is revealed that Phalan asked for a vow for a daughter's job, while another gave birth to a daughter or granddaughter On completion of this vow, Chhath was done. 10 years ago, there was not much to hear, but now there are many such examples.

 

In families where daughters are not taking birth, people ask for a vow with a desire for a daughter. The sixth asks Maiya that if she had a daughter, she would do Chhath or if her daughter had a job, Chhath would do so many years or offer soup for her. It seems to be growing rapidly in the family of upper castes. This is a good message, as it also seems to eradicate the contradiction and perhaps even the sixth Maiya likes it. Chhath has been done mostly by women and in the same tradition, it was not surprising for girls to have Chhath, but now it is not so.

 

Chhath soup is directly related to family growth.

Chhath's offerings go up in bamboo soup. Bamboo is also considered a symbol of descent in us. Soup increases in many families with the birth of a son. Till the third generation comes, the Chhath soup keeps climbing in the name of the man. In many families, Chhath soup is offered in the name of every living man. Even in families where this is not so, the Chhath soup is offered after the vow of the birth of the son. Now the same thing is happening for daughters, so it is nice to hear.

 

Used to be sweet for girls, now soup too

 

Supti is much smaller than soup. The shape formed by mixing both palms is almost the same. Chhath's vow was asked for girls in the first place. It was known that this is for the daughter. But now the soup is also climbing for girls and here too the son-daughter gap seems to be erasing.
