Motilal Singh, the camp office in charge of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's Gorakhnath temple, died in a road accident late on Thursday night. His wife is also seriously injured in the accident. The accident took place at around one o'clock on Thursday night near Khajauli outpost of Basti district on Gorakhpur-Lucknow four lane. Both the people were brought to Gorakhnath Hospital in Gorakhpur, where Motilal Singh was declared brought dead by the doctors. Motilal Singh had retired from the post of Additional Municipal Officer in the Municipal Corporation. After this Gorakhnath was giving his service in the temple.
