Chief Minister Yogi said that due to the successful implementation of the policy of Track, Test, Treat, and Vaccination, effective control of Covid remains in Uttar Pradesh. At present, there is a total of 1621 active cases in the state. In this, 1556 people are getting health benefits at home. Continuous monitoring should be done on their health.
He said that so far 31 crores and 50 lakh doses of the Covid vaccine have been administered in Uttar Pradesh. While more than 11 crores 15 lakh Covid tests have also been done. The entire population aged 18+ have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 88.72 percent of adults have received both. In the 15 to 17 age group, more than 95.3 percent of adolescents have received the first dose and 67 percent of adolescents have received both. In the age group of 12 to 14, more than 63 percent of children have got the vaccine, and they have started to be given the second dose. Immunization of children and booster doses for adults need to be intensified.
193 new patients were found in 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, 193 new cases were confirmed in the entire state, including 66 in Gautam Budh Nagar, 36 in Ghaziabad, 21 in Lucknow, 18 in Meerut, and 17 in Kanpur Nagar. Chief Minister Yogi directed that all the hospitals and medical colleges should inspect the fire fighting arrangements so that no damage is caused due to fire incidents.
