Beijing: An internal report has warned that anti-China sentiment is at its peak globally. According to Reuters, the report warns that China (China) is facing increasing malice in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, which could worsen its relations with the United States (US).
Corona virus, which first appeared in Wuhan city of China, has so far infected more than 3 million people globally and nearly 2 lakh people have lost their lives due to this.
The state security ministry handed over this Chinese report to top Beijing leaders, including President Xi Jinping, early last month. The report says that China needs to be prepared for the worst situation of armed confrontation with America.
The report was prepared by the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), a think tank affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Defense, which is China's top intelligence agency.
The widening gap between the two countries
Relations between China and the United States are seen at their worst levels in the last few decades. Starting with America's mistrust and estrangement over unfair trade and technological work, the gap between US-China relations is widening, with Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the conflict over disputed areas of the South China Sea.
The Corona virus has killed thousands of American people and devastated the American economy.
US President Donald Trump has since been criticizing China and threatening to impose new tariffs on China. Meanwhile, his administration is considering ways to take revenge on China.
In contrast, in Beijing it is widely believed that the United States wants to control emerging China, which has become more assertive globally as the economy grows.
Finally, the report concluded that Washington sees the rise of China as a threat to economic and national security and a challenge to Western democracy. The report also said that America's goal is to reduce the trust of the public and remove the ruling Communist Party.
China is trying to play a leading role in the global fight against COVID-19. This includes selling their donation and medical equipment to the United States and other countries and sharing their experiences. But China is also facing increasing hostility from critics who have held China responsible for this epidemic.
Trump accused the World Health Organization (WHO) of adopting a biased attitude towards China and said that he would no longer fund WHO. The Australian government has also demanded an international investigation into the origin and spread of the virus.
Last month, France summoned the Chinese ambassador in protest against an article published on the Chinese embassy website. This article criticized the efforts of Western countries to deal with the corona virus.
And at the end of the report ..
The report suggests that anti-China sentiment may further provoke opposition to China's road infrastructure investment projects. And the US can make the security conditions in Asia more flexible by giving economic and military support to regional allies.
The conditions that were created after the Tianmen massacre are no longer the same as China is now more powerful than before. Many Western governments had imposed many sanctions against China and China was isolated.
