Uttarkashi Cloud Burst: From Sara Ali Khan to Sonu Sood, stars expressed their grief over the Uttarkashi disaster and prayed

After heavy rains on Tuesday, a cloud burst in Dharali, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, causing terrible devastation. Dharali village was destroyed in the devastation caused by Kheer Ganga. The entire village was in an uproar due to the flood of water and debris. The death of about four people has been confirmed, while about 70 people are reported missing. Many film stars, including actress Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, have expressed their pain over this disaster.

 

Prayed for the affected

Actress Sara Ali Khan has expressed grief over the devastation caused by the cloudburst in Uttarkashi through a social media post. She shared a post on Instagram story late last night on Tuesday and prayed for the affected. Also shared the numbers providing emergency services.

Shared emergency numbers

Sara Ali Khan has shared a post on Instagram story and wrote, 'My condolences to all the people affected by the incident in Uttarakhand. I pray for the safety of everyone. May the affected get a speedy recovery. Get strength. In another post, he shared the emergency numbers issued by the Uttarkashi District Emergency Operations Center to help in the rescue operation.

 

Sonu Sood wrote - 'Time for the country to unite'

 

Sonu Sood shared a post from his ex account and wrote, 'The mind is saddened by the devastating floods and cloudburst in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Prayers for everyone affected. It is time for the whole country to unite. The government is doing its job; we must personally stand up for everyone who has lost their home, their livelihood, and their life.

 

Bhumi Pednekar and Adivi Sesh expressed grief.

Bhumi Pednekar shared a social media post and wrote, 'What is happening in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand is heartbreaking'. Apart from him, actor Adivi Sesh has also expressed grief over the incident. He wrote, 'The visuals of the disaster in Uttarakhand have broken my heart. Prayers for all those affected.

 

Houses were buried in the rubble, and roads collapsed.

The district administration said that by late evening, 130 people had been rescued. Four people have been confirmed dead. While about 70 people are reported missing. Also, it is being speculated that 30 hotels, shops, and houses have been swept away in the rubble. Some houses have been buried in the rubble, and roads have collapsed. There is terrible devastation all around Dharali village.
