Chinese President Xi Jinping warned at a meeting of the Davos World Economic Forum on Monday that a global conflict could have dire consequences.

Due to the Corona epidemic, this meeting of the World Economic Forum is going virtual.

President Xi Jinping said that history is witness to the fact that conflict does not solve problems.

He said that there is a need to make joint efforts to deal with the impact of the corona epidemic. The Chinese President said that humanity will recover from the epidemic.

He has also called for better coordination of economic policies to prevent further deterioration of the global economy.

China's success

The tone of Xi Jinping's speech was the same as last time. He mentioned China's success in dealing with the Corona epidemic.

He said that China is the only economy in the world that is giving strong results.

Pointing to the weakness in the relations between the world's major powers, he cautioned against the future.

He said that China believes in the policy of taking everyone along.

He warned that there is a need to establish solid coordination between countries and prosperous countries should follow responsible economic policies so that developing countries do not suffer due to their activities.

China's zero covid policy

Since the beginning of the Corona epidemic, China has been following the Zero Covid policy. Its borders are closed to outsiders, but during the entire epidemic, it has remained a major center of production for the whole world.

Addressing the World Economic Forum, Xi Jinping said that the world has fought a very difficult battle against the epidemic that comes once in centuries.

But he also said that this epidemic will last long. New variants of the virus are spreading more rapidly than before and this has deepened the challenge facing the global economy.

Xi Jinping warned, "The global supply chain for industries has been disrupted. The prices of things are rising rapidly. Energy supplies have been affected."

He said, "Protectionism and arbitrary actions are not going to benefit anyone. It is going to harm others as well as ourselves in the end. We should proceed on the path of dialogue without any confrontation."

President Xi Jinping's statement comes amid the ongoing political and business tensions between China and the US.

Every year in January, this meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland saw business and political figures from all over the world shoulder to shoulder with each other.

But due to the outbreak of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, the World Economic Forum's virtual conference is being held for the second time in a row.
