Plumes of smoke have started rising once again from the Bhalswa landfill site in Delhi. Strong flames are visible today in the fire that broke out in the garbage at the site. Due to the fire, the smoke has spread all around. At the same time, people living near the site are also facing difficulty breathing due to the smoke. Let us tell you that this is the second fire in the landfill this year. A month ago, there was a fierce fire here, which could be extinguished after several days.

 

People are having trouble breathing

 

A resident near the area said that due to the house being one km away from the site, his eyes started hurting and breathing was also difficult. Some people also say that every year from April to June, due to the fire, the heat also increases, and diseases also spread.

 

Demand raised for removal of the landfill site

 

The people of Bhalswa are facing a lot of trouble due to the frequent fire on the site. For this reason, people are now demanding to remove this site. Local people living near the landfill site say that if this site is not removed then people may have to face many diseases.

 

There was a fierce fire on 26 April also

 

The incident of fire in the garbage at the Bhalswa landfill site is years old, the incident of fire keeps coming to the fore every year. Let us tell you that on 26 April this year also a fire broke out in the garbage at this site which continued for several days. After this, more than 100 fire tenders had brought the fire under control.
