New Delhi, Jan 29 (IANS) It was a cold Thursday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 4.8 degrees Celsius - four notches below the season's average.
The visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 700 metres which affected the arrival of 30 trains to the city while two trains were cancelled, the Northern Railway said.
"There was moderate to dense fog in the morning but the day ahead will be mainly clear and sunny. The sky will however turn partly cloudy evening onward," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The day's maximum temperature would be around 17 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 94 percent.
Wednesday's minimum temperature was a notch below the season's average at 7.9 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 18 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
