This stance of the Union Minister has come before the protest of the Muslim Personal Law Board at Jantar Mantar on Monday. Rijiju was answering questions of journalists on the sidelines of the Roza Iftar party organized by Delhi BJP Minority Front at the India Islamic Cultural Center on Sunday.
The accusation of spreading lies on the opposition
He said that India runs by law. How can anyone snatch someone's land? Still, if the government does something wrong, there is the court. He accused the opposition of spreading lies. He said that their job is to oppose, but they should not lie.
He said that the Modi government has brought this law for the welfare of the Muslim community. The country has the highest Waqf land globally, it is the government's responsibility to ensure that the society gets the benefit of it. He said that all the questions on JPC have been answered. When this law comes to the Parliament, I will answer every point.
Opposition parties also invited
On the other hand, an official of the Muslim Personal Law Board said that religious organizations like Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ahle Hadith, and All India Milli Council will participate in the protest on Monday.
Similarly, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, SP President Akhilesh Yadav, Manoj Jha from RJD, Sanjay Singh from AAP, DMK, AIMIM, Trinamool Congress and other opposition parties have also been invited. He said that further agitation against the central government will be announced in the protest.
