New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) The BJP Wednesday called the Congress manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections a "document of deceit".

"They promise eight percent-plus growth in the manifesto... while the growth rate is 4.6 percent. Can there be a greater fraud?" he said.
The BJP also slammed the Congress for saying it reduced poverty during its tenure. "Whole statistics of poverty reduction is the biggest fraud of this government," he said.
On the issue of empowering minorities, the BJP spokesman said: "Only the elite Muslims have benefited from the Congress. What about the common Muslim?"
