
Pm Modi Parliament Prime Minister Modi fiercely surrounded the Congress in the speech given on the previous day. In his speech, the PM reminded us of the shortcomings of the UPA government as well as the scams. Speaking on the motion of thanks on President Murmu's address, the PM said that the Congress during its rule many times turned the opportunity into a disaster. The PM listed the shortcomings of the UPA government on many things including the 2G scam, CWG. While Modi was attacking Congress, at the same time he thanked Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, which became very much discussed.
Slogans raised in Parliament - 'Partition in Congress'
When the PM was besieging the Congress, the opposition, including several leaders of the Congress party, staged a walkout from the Parliament. After some time when the opposition leaders returned, Shashi Tharoor was the first to come inside. On seeing Tharoor, the PM thanked him in the middle of his speech, after which the BJP MPs in the House raised slogans of division in the Congress.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor came out of the House and praised PM Modi's speech. Tharoor said that PM Modi gave a good speech, but did not answer a single question from the opposition. The Congress leader said it was wrong for the PM to attack the terrorist incidents that took place during the UPA regime. He said that these attacks were on the country and not on Congress.

In his speech, PM Modi also made many attacks on the then-UPA government of Congress including Rahul Gandhi. Taking a jibe at Rahul, the PM said that some people are under the illusion that he is about to make a comeback, but this is only to amuse their minds. He said that many terrorist incidents took place during the UPA regime due to which people felt insecure. The PM said that Congress converted many opportunities into disasters during that time, due to which that time will still be considered a lost decade.
