The Congress leader said it was wrong for the PM to attack the terrorist incidents that took place during the UPA regime. He said that these attacks were on the country and not on Congress.

In his speech, PM Modi also made many attacks on the then-UPA government of Congress including Rahul Gandhi. Taking a jibe at Rahul, the PM said that some people are under the illusion that he is about to make a comeback, but this is only to amuse their minds. He said that many terrorist incidents took place during the UPA regime due to which people felt insecure. The PM said that Congress converted many opportunities into disasters during that time, due to which that time will still be considered a lost decade.
