New Delhi

The daily rising figures of the Corona case in Delhi are now being intimidated. In the last three days, 5 thousand patients of Covid-19 have been exposed in the state. For the first time in the last two months, the capital has overtaken Mumbai in terms of new cases of Covid-19. Delhi has come at number three in the case of Corona case. According to the Central Health Ministry data today, the state has 25,004 cases while 9,898 people have been cured. 650 people have died due to this deadly virus in Delhi. The daily rising figures are now tense.

Delhi surpasses Mumbai too!

There are about 1,198 new cases reported daily in the state from 28 May to 3 June. The highest number of new Corona cases were found on June 3 when 1,513 new cases were reported in the state. For the first time in two months, more new cases have been found in Delhi in one day than in Mumbai. There were 1,276 new cases in Mumbai on Wednesday. There are currently 14,456 active cases in Delhi. Maharashtra has 33,681 active cases while Gujarat has 4,762 active cases. There are 14,902 active cases in Tamil Nadu.

Cases began to grow after the relaxation of Lockdown-4

Delhi has seen a 2.35-fold increase in new cases of Corona after the relaxation of Lockdown-4. During this time, there were not so many cases in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Corona cases have been found in the national capital from central ministries to state government offices.

The corona went on growing like this

On May 28, new cases of corona crossed 1,000 in Delhi for the first time on May 28. Since then, more than 1 thousand new cases of Covid-19 have increased continuously in the state. On 1 June only 990 new cases were reported.

What is the logic of Delhi government

The Delhi government is linking the increase in new cases with more testing, but analyzing the positivity rate gives a different story. The average positivity rate in the week ending May 31 was 14.7% as compared to just 10.8% in the previous week.

Number of container zones also increased

The number of Containment Zones has also increased in the last 16 days due to the increasing Corona cases in Delhi. On May 18, there were 73 Containment Zones which increased to 163 on June 3. North Delhi has the highest 30 containment zones while West Delhi has 29 zones.
