More than 50 lakhs were cured out of 60.53 lakh patients, recovery rate being 82.74%; Death toll exceeded 95 thousand

Good news for all of us. The number of people recovering from infection in the country crossed 50 lakh on Sunday. India is the only country in the world, where so many patients have been cured. The country's recovery rate has been 82.74%. That means 82 people are recovering in every 100 patients.

 

Meanwhile, 60 lakh 73 thousand 348 people have been caught in the infection till now. Of these, 50 lakh 13 thousand 368 people have been cured and discharged from the hospital. 95 thousand 574 people have died. The United States ranks first in terms of the maximum number of infections.

 

So far more than 72 lakh 82 thousand people have been found corona positive. Of these, only 45 lakh 24 thousand patients could be recovered, while more than 2 lakh patients lost their lives. There are 25 lakh 24 thousand patients who are being treated, while the number of such patients in India is now 9 lakh 63 thousand.

 

More than 23 lakh patients found in 27 days, 21 lakh were cured

 

In the last 27 days, 2.3 million people have been infected in the country. On September 16, a record 97 thousand 865 new patients were found in one day. It is good that in September, more than 21 lakh people recovered and went to their homes. On September 21, a maximum of 1 lakh 2 thousand 70 patients were discharged from the hospital. This number of people who recover in a day is the highest in the whole world.

 

1 lakh active cases reduced in last 9 days

The most relieving thing is that the number of active cases i.e. patients who are being treated are steadily decreasing rather than increasing. More than 1 lakh active cases have come down in the last 9 days. On September 17, the number of active cases in the country crossed 10 lakh to 10.25 lakh. Now it has reduced to 9.63 lakhs. ICMR investigating cases of re-infection: Dr. Harsh Vardhan

 

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday, 'The Indian population is still far from achieving herd immunity against Covid-19. This is also known from the second serosurvey of ICMR. Therefore, we all have to save ourselves by following the rules. ''

 

On the matter of a person being infected twice, he said that the ICMR is investigating such cases. Only after doing research can it be spoken well. At present, the number of such cases is negligible.

 

Corona updates

1. Madhya Pradesh

 

The state reported 2,310 new cases of infection on Sunday. So far, 1 lakh 22 thousand 209 people have been infected in the state. 26 people have died in the last 24 hours. The death toll has now risen to 2,207.

 

Due to non-compliance with lockdown rules in the capital Bhopal, now the Bhopal Collector has given instructions to strictly do so. Collector Avinash Lavonia has asked to take effective action to prevent corona infection. All SDMs have been asked to take action to comply with the order issued in Section 144. In such a situation, now the business institutions will be fined, the shop will have to be closed for three days.

 

2. Rajasthan

 

The state reported 2,084 cases of corona on Sunday. The number of infected people has now reached 1 lakh 28 thousand 859. 15 people died within 24 hours. After which the total death toll reached 1441.

 

So far, more than 30.51 lakh samples have been tested in the state. So far, 1 lakh 7 thousand 718 people have been cured among the total infected, while 19 thousand 700 patients are still under treatment.

 

3. Bihar

 

On Sunday, 1,527 new cases were found in the state and 1,405 people were discharged from the hospital after recovering. So far, 1 lakh 78 thousand 882 people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 1 lakh 64 thousand 537 people have been cured, while 13 thousand 456 patients are still under treatment. So far 888 patients have died due to infection.

 

4. Maharashtra

 

On Sunday, 18 thousand 56 people were found infected in the state, 380 patients died during treatment. 13 thousand 565 people recovered and went to their homes. So far, 13 lakh 39 thousand 232 people have been infected. Out of this 10 lakh 30 thousand 15 people have been cured, while 35 thousand 571 patients have died. There are 2 lakh 73 thousand 228 patients who are currently being treated.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh

 

In the last 24 hours, 4,403 new cases were reported, while 5,656 people were discharged from the hospital after recovery. So far 5,594 people have died due to infection. So far, 3 lakh 87 thousand 85 people in the state have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 25 thousand 888 people have been cured. The recovery rate of corona patients in the state has now increased to 84.19 percent.
