In the last 24 hours, the corona report of 1 lakh 33 thousand 48 people have come positive in the country. During this, 3,204 people also died due to infection. It was a matter of relief that 2 lakh 31 thousand 277 infected people were also cured. In this way, the number of active cases, that is, the number of patients being treated, decreased by 1.01 lakh.

 

On Tuesday, except Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Mizoram, more infected than the new infected were cured in all the other states and union territories. In Maharashtra, a maximum of 35,949 people defeated Corona. Apart from this, 31,683 people have recovered in Tamil Nadu, 29,271 in Karnataka, and 24,117 in Kerala.

Restrictions like lockdown in 15 states

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 15 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.

 

Partial lockdown in 17 states/UTs

There is a partial lockdown in 17 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

Now any person will be able to update the vaccination status on the Arogya Setu App on his mobile. This will be a self-assessment process. According to the government, this facility will make it easier to check the status of vaccination while traveling somewhere. The Ministry of IT and Electronics said on Tuesday that all Aarogya Setu users will get the option of Update the Vaccination Status.

 

The ministry said in a statement that those who have received a single dose of the vaccine will see a single blue tick with the status of the vaccination on the home screen of the Aarogya Setu app. After the second dose, those people will see a blue shield with a double tick on the app. This double tick will appear after verification of the vaccination status from the COVIN portal.

 

American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly has got approval for the emergency use of antibody drugs Bamlanivimab 700mg and Etesevimab 1400mg in India with conditions. The company made this claim on Tuesday. This drug will be used in the treatment of mild and less severe patients of the corona.

1. Maharashtra

 

On Tuesday, 14,123 people were found infected here. 35,949 people were cured and 854 people died. So far 57.61 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. 2. Chhattisgarh

 

On Tuesday, 1886 people were found corona positive in the state. 4471 people were cured and 29 died. So far 9.73 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 9.27 lakh people have been cured, while 13,077 people have died. 33,127 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Gujarat

 

On Tuesday, 1,561 people were found corona positive in the state. 4,869 people were cured and 22 died. So far 8.10 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.71 lakh people have been cured, while 9,855 patients have died. 29,015 people are being treated here.

 

4. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Tuesday, 1,221 people were found infected here. 5,625 people were cured and 175 people died. So far 16.92 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.39 lakh have been cured, while 20,672 patients have died. 32,465 patients are being treated here.

 

5. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Tuesday, 1,078 people were found corona positive in the state. 4,120 people were cured and 45 died. So far 7.81 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.52 lakh people have been cured, while 8,112 people have died. 20,303 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Rajasthan

 

1,002 people were found corona infected here on Tuesday. 6,114 people were cured and 65 died. So far 9.40 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 8.95 lakh people have been cured, while 8,450 patients have died. Presently 37,477 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

7. Delhi

 

On Tuesday, 623 people were found corona positive in Delhi. 1,423 people were cured and 62 died. So far 14.26 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 13.92 lakh people have been cured, while 24,299 patients have died. 10,178 are being treated here.
