1. Maharashtra

On the other hand, there has been a decrease of 16% in new corona cases in Mumbai on Thursday. On Thursday, 13,702 new cases have been reported, while on Wednesday 16,420 new cases were found. During the last 24 hours, 20,849 people have been discharged and 6 people have died in the metro city. The total active cases have also come down again below 1 lakh. Now there are 95,123 active cases in Mumbai.
2. Delhi
On Thursday, 28,867 new corona cases have been found in Delhi. This is the highest number of newly infected in a day in the state after 8 months. It had received such a large number of patients on May 3 last year during the first second wave. The positivity rate in the national capital has also increased from 26% to 29%. This means that now one patient is getting infected for every three tests.
During the last 24 hours in the capital, 31 people died, but 22,121 patients have been cured. The total active cases in the capital now stand at 94,160, while the positivity rate has reached 29%. The total number of infected has reached 16.46 lakh, out of which 15.27 lakh people have been cured. So far 25,271 people have died in the capital.
3. Karnataka
On Thursday, 25,005 people were found infected here, while 2363 people were cured and 8 people died. So far 31.24 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 29.70 lakh people have been cured, while 38,397 people died. Here too, the number of active cases has exceeded 1 lakh. Now 1,15,733 patients are being treated here. Here the positivity rate has become 12%.
4. West Bengal
23,467 new cases have been found in West Bengal on Thursday. In Bengal, 8139 patients have been cured during this period, while 26 people have died. The state's positivity rate is still at 32%. A total of 18.41 lakh cases have been found in the state so far, while 16.89 lakh people have recovered. A total of 19,985 people have died in the state. Now the total active cases in Bengal are 1 lakh 31 thousand 553.
5. Tamil Nadu
Here on Thursday, 20,911 new cases were reported during 24 hours, while 6235 patients were cured and 25 people died. So far, more than 28.68 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 27.27 lakh people have been cured, while 36,930 people died. Here the number of active cases has crossed 1 lakh. Now the total active cases are 1,03,610. The positivity rate in Tamil Nadu has increased to 13%.

2. Madhya Pradesh
The situation is worsening in Madhya Pradesh due to Corona. 4755 positives were found in the state in 24 hours. Active cases have gone up to 21394. The positivity rate reached 6%. On Thursday, 1008 new cases were found in Bhopal. These include Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, 73 children aged 1 to 18 years, 72 elderly people above the age of 61, and 10 doctors.
