Saurabh Bhardwaj has been made the president of Delhi and Mehraj Malik has been given the responsibility for Jammu and Kashmir.
AAP MP Sandeep Pathak said, "Many decisions were taken in the meeting of the party's Political Affairs Committee today. Gopal Rai has been made in-charge of Gujarat. Pankaj Gupta has been made in-charge of Goa. Manish Sisodia has been made in charge of Punjab and I have been made in charge of Chhattisgarh. Saurabh Bhardwaj has been appointed the head of the party's Delhi unit and Mehraj Malik has been appointed the head of the party's Jammu and Kashmir unit."
After being elected as the party president of Delhi, Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "About half of the population of Delhi voted for us (AAP) in the elections. Along with these voters, we also have to take care of those who voted for BJP thinking that they will get Rs 2500 and gas cylinders. We will strengthen the party and I believe that it is easiest to build an organization after losing. The one who stays with you even at the time of the party's defeat is pure gold."
On his appointment as the in-charge of Punjab, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said, "Arvind Kejriwal has ordered me to work as the in-charge of Punjab on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party.
