A historic event that not only gave a new direction to our freedom movement but also gave new meaning to the purpose of independence. That meeting of Shri Narayan Guru and Mahatma Gandhi 100 years ago is still as inspiring and relevant as it was then.'

'Like a source of energy for the collective goals of developed India'

PM Modi said, 'India's specialty is that whenever our country gets caught in a whirlpool of difficulties, some great personality is born in some corner of the country and shows a new direction to the society. Some work for the spiritual upliftment of society, while some give impetus to social reforms in the social sector. Shri Narayan Guru was one such great saint.'

'One Earth, One Health'

Prime Minister Modi said, 'Recently we celebrated World Yoga Day. This time the theme of Yoga Day was - One Earth, One Health. Even before this, India has taken initiatives like One World, and One Health for world welfare.
