At the same time, 294 patients died in the last 24 hours, after which the number of dead has increased to 6,642.
In the past 24 hours, 518 new cases were reported in Italy and 85 patients died. Now the total number of infected people has reached two lakh 34 thousand 531. Out of this, more than 33 thousand people have died. One lakh 63 thousand 781 people have recovered and gone home. In Italy, 36,976 patients are undergoing treatment.
