T20 World Cup: Additional tickets for the two matches of the Indian team will be sold on this day, know complete details.

This year, the T20 World Cup 2024 will be jointly hosted by West Indies and America starting from June 1. Additional tickets for the six T20 World Cup matches to be held in New York will go on sale from Thursday, April 4, 2024.

 

During this period, the Indian team has to play matches against Ireland and America, apart from which the tickets will be sold from Thursday. The Indian team will start its campaign in the T20 World Cup against Ireland on June 5. Then on June 12, the Indian team will face the tournament's joint host America.

The ICC issued a release on Tuesday saying, "Fans can now book their place in the World Cup. The sale of additional tickets for six matches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York begins on Thursday. This includes two matches of the Indian team.

 

The release further read, "A limited number of tickets will also be available for all four matches at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, including the inaugural World Cup match between the United States and Canada on June 1."

 

Let us tell you that a video was also released, in which 60 days of the mega event was celebrated. It showed the progress of the construction of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium with a capacity of 34,000 spectators. The venue will host 8 matches, including the high-voltage match India vs Pakistan on June 9.

 

Be aware that the ticket prices for the match between India and Pakistan are skyrocketing. These tickets were sold at a price 200 times higher than the normal ticket. Remind that the T20 World Cup will start on June 1 with the match between America and Canada. The final match will be played in Barbados on June 29.
