Most active cases in Kerala
At present, the active cases in the country are 6.88 lakh. 71% of these cases are in just 5 states. These states are- Kerala (2.32 lakh), Maharashtra (70.1 thousand), Tamil Nadu (66.9 thousand), Karnataka (52 thousand), Andhra Pradesh (40.8 thousand), and Madhya Pradesh (29.5 thousand).

Changes in rules for foreign travelers, now no need for RT-PCR or Quarantine
The central government on Thursday changed the rules for foreign travelers to take entry into the country. The government has abolished the 'at risk' countries category. According to the new rules, now passengers will not have to come to India to undergo any test, nor will they have to be quarantined. The new guideline will come into effect from February 14.
Foreign travelers will have to fill only a self-declaration form, in which they will have to provide a travel history of 14 days and will have to submit a negative report of RT-PCR test done within 72 hours of travel. This form will be available on the Air Suvidha Portal.
These rules will be applicable only for travelers from 72 countries whose vaccination program has been recognized by the Government of India. These countries include Canada, Hong Kong, the USA, the UK, Bahrain, Qatar, Australia, New Zealand, and some European countries.

6. Rajasthan: New cases decreased compared to the previous day

7. Delhi: Continuous decline in new cases
