Corona vaccine being given to Tihar jail inmates, vaccines are given to so many people so far

New Delhi: Because of the threat of the Coronavirus in the Central Jail Tihar, the work of giving Corona vaccine to the prisoners in jail has also started. Under this, a total of 363 prisoners have been vaccinated so far. Besides, in other jails of Tihar Jail, the prisoners who come under this process are also being prepared to apply the vaccine in the next steps.

 

 

According to Tihar Jail Director General Sandeep Goyal, the program for the first time in Tihar Jail's Rohini Sub Jail was introduced and the Corona vaccine was introduced to 50 suitable prisoners. The Tihar Jail authorities asked the prisoners in Rohini Jail, who were above 45 years of age, about their desire to get the Coronavirus vaccine. In such a situation, 50 prisoners had expressed their wish. On which Rohini Jail Number 10 Jail Superintendent Sundar Bora, along with Tihar Jail Medical Officer Dr. Ajay Dalal and Northern District Vaccination Officer, proceeded to implement the Corona vaccine, and today these people were vaccinated by setting up camps.

 

 

According to Tihar Jail Director General Sandeep Goyal, before that a corona vaccine has been applied to a total of 262 inmates and 63 inmates of Mandoli Jail in the jails located in Hari Nagar, the main campus of Tihar Jail, i.e., 363 inmates of this jail have been vaccinated. Has gone

 

 

Keep in mind that the threat of coronavirus has been wreaking havoc in Tihar Jail continuously and so far this year, a total of 67 prisoners have died in all the jails of Tihar Jail. The personnel of Tihar Jail also had to commit taxes, but they too were cured. But between 2 April and 14 April in the same month, 11 prison workers became corona. These include a jail superintendent.

 

 

Along with this, eligible prisoners in Tihar Jail were asked to speed up the work of applying the Corona vaccine. Keep in mind that the face-to-face meeting of the prisoners in Tihar Jail with their families has been closed due to the threat of the Coronavirus. Because of the ever-increasing coronavirus in Delhi, the Tihar Jail administration fears that if these meetings are held, the number of such cases in the jail may also increase. So these meetings have been banned till further orders.
