Flight Accident: Chaos on Hawaiian Airlines flight, 11 passengers seriously injured

At least a dozen people were seriously injured after a crash aboard a flight from Phoenix to Honolulu. The plane was about 30 minutes from Honolulu when the incident happened. Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said in a statement that 11 people were hospitalized in serious condition and nine others were in stable condition.

Information received about turbulence at 11 am

They informed me that a call was received shortly after 11 am regarding turbulence on a Hawaiian Airlines flight from Phoenix. After this, EMS and the American Medical Response Team provided immediate help as soon as the emergency was reported at the international airport. The 13 passengers and three crew members were taken to hospitals for further medical care.

Serious injury to passengers

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the patients' injuries included severe head lacerations, bruises, and loss of consciousness. The airline said there were 278 passengers and 10 crew members on board and the plane landed safely in Honolulu at around 10.50 am.

Passenger Kaylee Reyes told Hawaii News Now that her mother was still seated when the turbulence hit and she didn't even have a chance to put on her seat belt and was blown through the air and hit the ceiling. Following this incident, Hawaiian Airlines is monitoring the condition of all affected passengers and employees.
