भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राधिकरण (एफएसएसएआई) के सीईओ ने कहा कि चिकन, मटन और सीफूड खाने से संक्रमण फैल सकता है, इसके बारे में गलत धारणा है।

अय्यंगार, जो पहले इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च (ICMR) के साथ थे, ने कहा कि यह समय की बात है कि कोरोनावायरस का टीका विकसित किया जाएगा क्योंकि भारत में वायरस से निपटने का एक अच्छा ट्रैक है।

अय्यंगर ने उद्योग मंडल एसोचैम के एक कार्यक्रम में कहा, "एक बार जब हम वायरस को अलग करने में सक्षम हो जाते हैं, तो वायरस का मुकाबला करने के लिए वैक्सीन खोजने में कुछ समय लगता है।"
