Petrol stock in Sri Lanka is now only one day left. Sri Lankan PM Ranil Wickremesinghe himself has given this information. He says that he is trying to ship diesel so that the difficulties of the people can be reduced. He has also said that one shipment under the line of credit from India will reach Sri Lanka on Wednesday and the second shipment on May 29 to reduce the suffering of the people. For this, the government is busy arranging dollars from the open market, so that the price of these shipments can be paid.

 

The Sri Lankan PM is tweeting that the country's revenue is 1.6 trillion while the government's expenditure is 2.4 trillion. On the other hand, if we talk about the budget deficit, then it is 2.4 trillion which is about 13 percent of the country's GDP. This amount is according to Sri Lankan currency. He has made many tweets about the condition of the country. In a tweet, he has written that the condition of the country may worsen in the coming two to four months. People's difficulties may increase further. He has also said that he does not wish to hide any truth from the countrymen. They cannot lie to their countrymen. The situation is very bad and intimidating. But this is the reality of the country at the moment.

 

He has also said in a tweet that last Thursday when he took the responsibility for PA Office. He has written that he took this responsibility not only as a leader but as a national leader, who wants to make law studies at Colombo University free. He has written that he will fulfill his responsibility and will also fulfill the promise he has made. In a tweet made two days ago, he has written that a lot has been done and a lot remains to be done. We have to look into the issues on a priority basis. These need to be resolved at the earliest. During this, he had said that on May 16, he would inform the country about the financial crisis of the country.
