नई दिल्ली: रेलवे 15 अप्रैल से 3 मई के बीच यात्रा के लिए बुक किए गए लगभग 39 लाख टिकटों को रद्द करने के लिए तैयार है, जो राष्ट्रव्यापी लॉकडाउन के विस्तार और तब तक यात्री ट्रेनों के निलंबन के कारण कोरोनोवायरस महामारी के मद्देनजर हैं।
राष्ट्रीय ट्रांसपोर्टर के साथ, 14 अप्रैल के बाद यात्रा के लिए 21-दिवसीय लॉकडाउन के दौरान टिकट बुक करने की अनुमति के साथ, लगभग 39 लाख बुकिंग यात्रियों द्वारा यह उम्मीद की गई थी कि ट्रेनें ऑपरेशन के बाद लॉकडाउन में होंगी।
हालांकि, लॉकडाउन अवधि के विस्तार की घोषणा के साथ, रेलवे ने मंगलवार को न केवल 3 मई तक अपनी सभी यात्री सेवाओं को रद्द कर दिया, बल्कि सभी अग्रिम बुकिंग को भी रोक दिया।

हालांकि, रेलवे ने कहा कि सभी यात्रियों को रद्द की गई ट्रेनों के साथ-साथ पहले से बुक किए गए टिकटों के लिए पूरा रिफंड मिलेगा।
रेलवे ने यह भी कहा है कि राष्ट्रीय ट्रांसपोर्टरों द्वारा अपने ऑनलाइन ग्राहकों के लिए पूर्ण रिफंड स्वचालित रूप से प्रदान किए जाएंगे, जबकि काउंटर पर बुकिंग करने वालों को 31 जुलाई तक रिफंड लिया जा सकता है।
अगर वे अभी तक रद्द नहीं हुई हैं, तो उन टिकटों की अपनी अग्रिम बुकिंग रद्द कर दी जाएगी जो अभी तक रद्द नहीं हुई हैं।
यह भी कहा कि ई-टिकट सहित ट्रेन टिकटों का कोई अग्रिम आरक्षण अगले आदेश तक अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी, हालांकि ऑनलाइन रद्द करने की सुविधा कार्यात्मक रहेगी।
"जहां तक तीन मई तक रद्द की गई ट्रेनों का सवाल है, रेलवे द्वारा ग्राहकों को ऑनलाइन रिफंड किया जाएगा, जबकि जिन लोगों ने काउंटरों पर बुकिंग की है, उनके लिए रिफंड 31 जुलाई तक लिया जा सकता है। पूरा रिफंड दिया जाएगा। रद्द की गई ट्रेनों की बुकिंग के लिए टिकट।
रेलवे ने कहा, "ट्रेनों के लिए टिकटों की अग्रिम बुकिंग रद्द करने वालों के लिए पूर्ण वापसी भी होगी।"
महामारी से पहले, IRCTC की वेबसाइट पर प्रतिदिन औसतन लगभग 8.5 लाख टिकट बुक किए जाते थे।

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार, मंगलवार शाम से रिपोर्ट किए गए 29 घातक मामलों के साथ कोरोनोवायरस के कारण देश में मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 353 हो गई, जबकि मंगलवार को 10,815 मामलों में जाने के लिए मामलों की संख्या 1,463 थी।
यह कहा गया है कि देश में सक्रिय COVID-19 मामलों की संख्या 9,272 है, 1,189 लोग ठीक हो गए हैं और उन्हें छुट्टी दे दी गई है और एक दूसरे देश में चले गए हैं।
