Today, 40 farmers' organizations opposing the agricultural laws are doing chakjajam across the country. The Shahjahanpur border between Rajasthan and Haryana has been blocked. Farmers in Amritsar and Mohali in Punjab have taken to the streets to stop trains. On the other hand, on the Jammu-Pathankot highway, farmers have stopped the movement of vehicles.

The jam, which started at 12 noon, will be held till 3 pm. Earlier, 10 metro stations in Delhi were closed as a precautionary measure. These include Mandi House, ITO, Delhi Gate, University, Khan Market, Nehru Place, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Janpath, and Central Secretariat Metro Station. There are a total of 285 metro stations here.

Farmers' organizations claim that the protest will be peaceful. Essential services such as ambulances, school buses will not be stopped. Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand have been kept out of this jam. On this, the spokesman of the Indian Farmers Union, Rakesh Tikait said that in Delhi, every day there is a situation of jam, so what is the need for jam here. However, he did not give a reason for keeping UP and Uttarakhand apart. It is said that farmers from these two states have been placed on standby and they can be called at any time.

Updates ...

Joint CP, Delhi Police said that the police are ready to deal with any situation. CCTV cameras have been installed in vulnerable areas.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media - Annadata's peaceful satyagraha is in the country's interest - these three laws are not only dangerous for the farmer-laborers but also the people and the country. Full support!

Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that the Central Government had a misunderstanding that opposition to agricultural laws was being held only in Punjab. All the farmers of the country are protesting against this. If despite this, he (Central Government) is closing his eyes and opposing it only to Punjab, then no one can do anything for it.

Rajasthan: The ruling Congress has given full support to this farmers' movement. A tractor rally was organized in Kota, farmers in Alwar blocked the national and state highways by putting stones and thorn bushes at 10 to 12 places.

Haryana-Punjab: School holidays. Roadways buses remained closed. Bhiwani, 15 in Jind, 12 in Yamunanagar, 10 in Karnal, and 5 in Kaithal have been checked. National and state highways were blocked in Hisar and Panipat. On the other hand, all political parties in Punjab except the BJP are in support of the jam. There was a conspiracy in different areas of Sangrur, Bathinda, Amritsar, Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, Muktsar, Kapurthala, Gurdaspur, and Jalandhar.

Telangana: The police removed the protesters who were engaged in a check-in on the highway in Hyderabad.

Security increased by lesson by mistake

The administration is more alert because of the violence in Delhi on 26 January. In Delhi-NCR, 50 thousand personnel of Police, Paramilitary, and Reserve Force have been deployed. All units of CRPF stationed in Delhi have been asked to put an iron mesh on their buses so that they can be saved in the event of stone-pelting.

The police force has been deployed at Road No. 56, NH-24, Vikas Marg, GT Road, Zeerabad Road to prevent farmers from entering Delhi during Chakkajam. Barricading has also been done in these areas. Drones are keeping an eye on police agitators along the Tikri border in Delhi.

Why was the announcement made?

In the budget presented on February 1, this is being done against ignoring the demand of farmers and shutting down the internet at the places of movement on the border of Delhi. Farmers' organizations say that tractors of many farmers have been confiscated since the January 26 tractor rally. Places around the Delhi border are being completely blocked. This is being jammed against all of them.

Appeal from farmer leaders- Resist, peace prevails

Rakesh Tikait: Some forces want to discredit the movement. The same happened on 26 January. There is a need to be more vigilant this time. Keep an eye and avoid the conspirators.

Darshanpal: To walk tall in the movement, it is necessary to support the youth. Youth keep your anger under control. Do not confront any police or any officer.

Balbir Singh Rajewal: Only peace will win. Some people want violence, so be more vigilant.

Gurnam Singh Chaduni: We have sent a message and phone to our people to keep the peace. He told everyone that only peace will be maintained if we keep restraint.

Kisan Panchayats held in UP, Rajasthan, thousands of farmers gathered in Shamli

To strengthen the movement, a series of Kisan Panchayats were started in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan from Friday, which will run till the end of February. They are being organized by the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). The RLD announced to support the farmer movement last week.

RLD Vice President Jayant Chaudhary said on Thursday that the purpose of Kisan Panchayats is to tell the government that this is a big movement. It is the responsibility of political parties to reach out to the farmers and also inform others about the sensitivity of the issue. Jayant Chaudhary said this during a Khap Panchayat held in Shamli. Naresh Tikait, president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, was also present in this that. Thousands of farmers joined the khap in Shamli.

Uproar in the Lok Sabha on the issue of farmers, postponed twice

Opposition parties in the Lok Sabha on Friday shouted slogans to withdraw the new agricultural law. The house proceedings had to be adjourned twice a day due to the uproar. On Thursday also 12 MPs of 9 opposition parties wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla demanding a separate discussion on agricultural laws in the House.

Sadhana accused of 26 January violence returned to the Singhu border

Lakka Sadhana, accused of instigating violence in the tractor parade on Republic Day, returned from Punjab to Delhi before a nationwide crackdown on farmers. Lakha went live on social media from the Singhu border on Friday evening. He said that Punjab should lead this peasant movement. He has also appealed to the peasant leaders not to exclude anyone from the committee of 32 Jatbandis.
