The Indian Council of Medical Research said that 13,52,717 sample tests were done for the coronavirus in India yesterday i.e. on Sunday. A total of 69,15,75,352 sample tests have been done since yesterday.
4,033 cases of Omicron in 27 states
On the other hand, the total number of Omicron cases in the country has increased to 4,033. Out of 4,033 patients of Omicron, 1,552 patients have been discharged. Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,216 cases of Omicron. At the same time, Rajasthan has overtaken Delhi on this list. Omicron has 529 patients in Rajasthan and 513 in Delhi.
