Gujarat's Patidar leader Hardik Patel will join BJP today. Hardik Patel tweeted before joining BJP. Hardik Patel tweeted and said that he will work as a small soldier. Let us tell you that Hardik Patel resigned from the post of state working president of Congress last month.

 

In a tweet on Thursday morning, Hardik said, "With the feelings of national interest, state interest, public interest, and social interest, I am going to start a new chapter from today." I will work as a small soldier in the work of service to the nation under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Bhai Modi Ji.

Speculation to contest from these seats

 

It is being told that Hardik Patel is set to contest the upcoming assembly elections. Hardik may contest from either Morbi in Saurashtra or Viramgam seat in his native village in Ahmedabad district. He had also indicated contesting the elections from BJP.

 

Resigned from Congress on May 18

 

Significantly, Hardik Patel resigned as the working president as well as the primary member of the Gujarat Congress on May 18. While leaving the Congress, Hardik said that I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat. I believe that after this step of mine, I will be able to work positively for Gujarat in the future.
