The cases of corona in the country are once again seeing a spurt. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, 2,424 new corona cases were registered in a day in India.
The total number of Covid cases has increased to 4,46,14,437, while the active cases have come down to 28,079. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment is 0.06 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national recovery rate from Covid-19 has increased to 98.75 percent.
Corona's case declined compared to Sunday
However, there has been a slight decline in corona cases today as compared to Sunday. In the last 24 hours, 15 people have died due to corona. Earlier on Sunday, 2,756 new cases of corona infection were registered in the country. While 21 people died. There was also a decrease in the daily number of newly infected patients. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases has reached 514.
Rapidly progressing vaccination campaign
It is noteworthy that so far four crores of 40 lakh 54 thousand 621 people have been cured of corona epidemic in the country. Apart from this, five lakh 28 thousand 799 people have died due to the epidemic in the country. Along with this, the corona vaccination campaign is also progressing rapidly in the country. So far, doses of 218 crores 97 lakh 88 thousand 104 vaccines have been given in the country. Soon this figure will cross the figure of 219 crores.
