New Delhi, Jan 7 (IANS) The CPI-M Wednesday hailed the "successful" start of a five-day strike in the coal industry that began Tuesday.
The Communist Party of India-Marxist said it "fully supports the demand of the workers to withdraw the coal mines ordinance".
The strike involving around five lakh workers has hit hard production in particular in mines of Coal India Ltd and its subsidiaries.
