Police said that this mob broke the lock of the madrasa on Wednesday evening. After this, standing on the steps of the madrasa, he raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Hindu Dharma Jai, then stood in a corner of the madrasa and also worshiped. A video related to this matter is doing the rounds on social media, in which the mob is seen trying to enter the madrasa by standing on the stairs.
Several Muslim organizations in Bidar held protests condemning the incident. The organizations demand that the accused be arrested. Failure to do so will result in large-scale demonstrations on Friday after Namaz. Because of the possibility of demonstration, the administration has deployed a heavy police force.

Built-in 1460 AD, this madrasa is a heritage building and is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. Earlier there used to be an old Lakshmi temple inside the madrasa.
