CSK vs RR: Good news for Rajasthan before the last league match, the fastest batsman returns

CSK vs RR: Rajasthan Royals batsman Shimron Hetmyer has again joined the team. He can be available for the team's last league match to be held on Friday. This 'big hitter' of West Indies went to Guyana for the birth of his son, due to which he could not play in the match against Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants. A source in the Indian Premier League told news agency PTI, "Hetmyer has returned and is currently in quarantine."

 

Rajasthan Royals is currently in second place in the points table. He made it to the top 2 by defeating Lucknow by 24 runs on Sunday. His last match in the league stage will be against Chennai Super Kings on Friday. This match will be played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Chennai's performance this season has not been anything special. Dhoni's captaincy Chennai Super Kings has played 13 matches so far in IPL 2022 and won 4 matches. With 8 points, the team is currently in the 9th position in the points table.

 

Talking about Hetmyer, Rajasthan Royals bought 25-year-old Hetmyer in a mega auction for Rs 8.5 crore. He has scored 291 runs in 11 matches so far this season at a strike rate of 166.29 and an average of 72.75. Hetmyer has scored only 1 half-century in IPL 2022. 59 not out is his highest score so far. He has hit 18 fours and 21 sixes so far.
