This severe cyclonic storm, which came with a speed of 135 kilometers per hour, caused heavy rains in West Bengal, due to which many houses and fields were flooded. The cyclonic storm was so severe that it left behind a trail of destruction.

Even the roads of Kolkata have been flooded due to Storm Ramal. It is still raining with strong winds in Bengal. The storm hit near the southwest coast of Mongla in neighboring Bangladesh at 8.30 pm on Sunday, after which it hit the shores of Bengal.

Many houses in Bengal suffered heavy damage due to storm 'Remal'. Many delicate houses were destroyed, while some trees and electric poles were also uprooted.
