A major cyber attack has been revealed on the online system of Delhi AIIMS. Data of about 4 crore patients have been stolen from the AIIMS system. This is the biggest hacking ever in the country's medical sector. 8 years ago the data of AIIMS was completely digitized. After that many former Prime Ministers, President, Vice President, and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi including Atal Bihar have been treated in AIIMS. The personal data of all these have been hacked from the server of AIIMS.

 

For the last two days, NIC, CBI, IB, DRDO, and Delhi Police are engaged in the investigation. On the other hand, two system analysts of AIIMS have been suspended.

 

According to sources, there is a possibility of a connection between international cybercrime in a data hack. Delhi Police has said that this is a matter related to cyber terror. An FIR has been registered in this regard on Thursday. The server of Delhi AIIMS is down since 7 am on Wednesday, which could not be recovered even after about 48 hours. Due to this, patients are facing problems with online registration in the hospital.

Investigating agencies are scanning all the computers connected to the online centralized system at AIIMS. Cyber ​​experts and software engineers are looking for the source and receiver of the data hack. Along with this, measures are also being taken to deal with the possible threat of cyber attacks.

The Internet has been shut down in AIIMS. The database of e-hospital database and lab information system is captured on an external hard drive. Four extra servers have been installed. All work is being done manually in OPD and IPD.
