The troubles of BRS leader Kavita, arrested in a money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam case, are increasing. CBI has today sought five-day custody of Kavita from a local court, on which the court will pass the order at 2 pm.

Former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter K Kavitha has been lodged in Tihar jail after she was arrested by the ED. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja has reserved the order on the application after hearing the arguments of CBI as well as the counsel appearing for Kavita.

CBI told the court that Kavita is not cooperating in the investigation and is hedging in giving her answers.
The CBI further alleged that BRS leader K Kavitha was hiding facts that were exclusively within her knowledge.
The accused's lawyer Nitish Rana opposed the CBI's plea, calling the arrest illegal. He also accused the investigating agency of violating Kavita's fundamental rights.
CBI officials had recently interrogated Kavita inside the jail after obtaining permission from a special court.
ED had arrested Kavita from her residence in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on March 15.
CBI made many revelations
CBI said that a liquor businessman of South Group had met Arvind Kejriwal and sought his support to do business in Delhi. CBI said that Kejriwal assured it of support and the agency has sufficient evidence, WhatsApp chats, and statements of the accused concerned in this regard.
