Several schools in the capital Delhi, were thrown into a panic this morning after receiving bomb threats. Police were immediately alerted, and security agencies immediately swung into action. Bomb squads and police personnel have arrived at various schools, and intensive searches are underway.
According to reports, the bomb threat was first received at BD Tamil Education School in Jhandewalan. Subsequently, similar threats were reported from other schools. Acting swiftly, the police alerted all sensitive schools and tightened security.
Currently, Delhi Police teams and bomb squads are searching for any suspicious objects inside and around the schools. Prioritizing the safety of children and staff, several schools have been evacuated as a precaution. Students and teachers have been advised to remain calm and follow safety guidelines.
The police are investigating the matter seriously and attempting to trace the source of the threatening call. Efforts are being made to find out whether this is the work of an organised gang or a rumour spread by a particular person.
