Delhi Weather News Update: With strong winds, there may be rain in Delhi-NCR today

Like Wednesday, the weather remained very pleasant for crores of people of Delhi-NCR on Thursday morning. Instead of jackets and sweaters, people were seen in full-sleeved shirts and T-shirts. Meanwhile, according to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to the active western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain during the day in Delhi-NCR on Thursday.

 

At the same time, the Meteorological Department had forecast rain on Wednesday night as well, but nothing like this happened. According to the Meteorological Department, it will be partly cloudy on Thursday and there may be light rain during the day. Along with this, winds are also likely to blow at a speed of 20 to 30 km per hour.

 

At the same time, earlier in the capital Delhi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, which is normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees below normal. While the humidity level in the air was 35 to 95 percent.

 

Poor air quality in Delhi NCR

 

There has been a slight increase in pollution levels in Delhi NCR. Due to this, the air quality in Delhi reached the poor category on Wednesday. At the same time, in the cities of NCR too, the quality there remained in the poor category. According to Safar India, there is a possibility of some improvement in the level of air pollution due to rain on Thursday. Hence the air quality may remain in the moderate range.

 

According to the report released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air index of Delhi was recorded at 225, which is in the poor category. A day earlier, the air index of Delhi was 170. The air index of Faridabad was recorded at 247, that of Ghaziabad was 253, that of Greater Noida was 230 and that of Noida was 210. The air index of Gurugram was recorded at 176, which is in the medium category.
