Former diplomat Jitendranath Mishra, who was the Indian ambassador to Portugal and Laos, on Sunday said that the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump has shattered the illusion of America being a 'safe' democracy. Secret Service will come under investigation
The former diplomat said that Trump raising his fist soaked in blood sends a message of resolve and fighting the Democratic Party with more vigor. Jitendra Nath Mishra is currently a professor of diplomatic studies at OP Jindal Global University in Sonipat. He said that after Sunday's incident, the US Secret Service will also come under investigation.

According to ANI, foreign affairs expert Ravinder Sachdev has described Trump as a divisive person. Sachdev condemned the attack on Trump and said that there was a possibility that someone who hated him wanted to kill him because of his policies.
