Ebrahim Raisi: 'Can't rule out any possibility', foreign affairs expert on raisi's death

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was returning from East Azerbaijan. Then his helicopter crashed and everyone in it died. The whole world is shocked by the news of his demise. India's foreign affairs expert Sushant Sarin says that this incident is surprising for everyone. It was also said that no possibility regarding the incident can be ruled out yet.

However, he said that it was more likely that the helicopter met with an accident due to bad weather or perhaps some technical glitch.

everyone is speculating

Sushant Sarin said, 'Of course, everyone is speculating. Like was this some kind of sabotage? In truth, no possibility can be ruled out at this time. However, I would say that it is more likely that this incident was entirely weather-related and perhaps a technical glitch that caused the helicopter to go down. If a helicopter comes down in such areas, it is difficult to make a landing. You must be very lucky to avoid such an accident.'

He said, 'This is a tragedy that happened in Iran. But I don't think it will have any impact on the Iranian system. Because the fundamentalists have control to a great extent. Raisi was a fanatic, some claim he was in line to succeed the supreme leader and now he is gone. Perhaps there is going to be a race/struggle at that level to become the heir apparent to the supreme leader.

Sarin also said that it was a matter of surprise and shock for everyone. But considering the weather and terrain of that area, it is entirely possible that it was just an accident.

We don't know if something like this happened or not

He said, 'Now, we don't know whether something like this happened or not, we don't know whether it was some technical fault due to which the helicopter crashed. We don't know whether it is a weather-related accident or not. But looking at that area and the weather, the possibility is that this accident might have happened due to bad weather.

He further said, 'As I said the radicals continue to control power. I don't think there is going to be any major change in Iran's domestic politics and international politics.

There will be no impact on the agreement with Iran

On the recent Chabahar port agreement between India and Iran, he said, 'The agreement we have made on Chabahar port or the other agreements we have with Iran. They are not person-specific. They are deals and agreements between two countries. I don't think it will have any impact. The second part is how Western governments present it in the Western media, and Western ecosystem.
