Even on Monday, farmer leaders were busy meeting throughout the day at the Shambhu border and making strategies. From the stage, the leaders expressed their displeasure over the functioning of the government towards the farmers. He said that on March 6, there will be a permanent front at Shambhu and Khanauri border, but thousands of farmers from other states will march to Delhi.
He said that an agreement has been reached with the United Kisan Morcha regarding the movement, which will soon be finalized in a meeting with the Morcha officials. On the other hand, farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni has refused to accept the condition of not contesting the elections.
In such a situation, he has not been included in the movement at present, although he has talked about supporting him from outside. In this regard, a state-level meeting of farmers of the BKU Chaduni faction is to be held in Kurukshetra on March 5, in which the upcoming strategy will be discussed.
At the same time, farmers of Punjab will not participate in the Delhi march program on Wednesday. But preparations are being made to put pressure on the central government from here by further strengthening the farmers' movement going on at the Shambhu and Khannauri borders.
Under this, an appeal has been made by the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Bharatiya Kisan-Labourer Sangharsh Committee to all the groups supporting this movement to increase the number of farmers at the borders.
For this, representatives of the groups should go from village to village and motivate the farmers to reach the borders in large numbers with tractor-trolleys. Speaking to Amar Ujala, Bharatiya Kisan Union Krantikari President Ranjit Singh Swajpur said that under this call, on Tuesday, the group is going to the Shambhu border with a large number of farmers with 10-12 tractor-trolleys.
The farmer leader said that the way farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallewal have announced that like Shambhu and Khannauri, permanent farmer fronts will be set up on other borders also. In such a situation, more and more tractor-trolleys will be required to cover more borders in the coming times. Therefore, this is the time to increase their count.
On the other hand, on Monday, farmer leaders continued to give speeches from the stage at the Shambhu border, in which farmers were encouraged to fight for a solution to their demands. Despite the continuous bad weather for the last two or three days, there is no less enthusiasm among the farmers.
There was bright sunshine on Monday, due to which the farmers felt some relief. During this time, women were seen washing clothes taking advantage of the sunshine. Langar was also arranged by various social service organizations and Gurudwara committees at various places on the border.
At some places langar of kheer, pulses and vegetables, and sweet rice were available. On the other hand, Haryana has also made strict security arrangements on the border. Even near the river, security forces are deployed so that farmers cannot cross the border in any way.
Diljit Dosanjh should reach the borders and raise his voice in favor of farmers.
Farmers say that Punjabi singer and artist Diljit Dosanjh is performing in the pre-wedding ceremony of Mukesh Ambani's son in Jamnagar. Whereas they should reach the borders here and raise their voice in favor of the farmers. Farmers standing at the Shambhu and Khannauri borders say that the way Diljit Dosanjh had advocated for the rights of farmers in the first farmers' movement. In the same way, this time also they should come forward so that pressure can be put on the central government regarding their demands.
