Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Telangana and Tamil Nadu today. During this time he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement that PM Modi will reach Adilabad in Telangana at around 10:30 am on Monday. The PMO said that the main focus of these projects will be on the power sector. PM Modi will inaugurate NTPC's 800 MW Telangana Super Thermal Power Project (Unit-2) at Peddapalli. This project based on advanced technology will supply 85 percent electricity to Telangana. It will have the highest power generation efficiency of about 42 percent among all NTPC power stations in India. PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of this project.
