The accused party claims that Nikki's brother-in-law, Rohit, the narrator of the incident, was not even in the village. Rohit was at the Sirsa toll of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The accused party had tried to gather evidence of Rohit's presence at the toll from the toll workers, but was unsuccessful.

The accused's lawyer, former Bar Association President Manoj Bhati, says that the bail application will be filed in the court soon. At the same time, an application will be made before the court to secure and provide the toll footage.
He said that when the police sent the accused to judicial custody, a copy of the form that was filed at that time would be taken out. After this, the bail process will start.
